Maiko Muro
Maiko has formed a unique style with her sensibility cultivated by living in foreign countries besides Japan. Her works are realized using various materials and colors, free from any genre.
- Brief Biography -
Born in Tokyo.
1996 Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Culture, Dokkyo University, Saitama, Japan.
1997 Left for Mexico and lived there for about 4 years.
1997 Learned drawing and painting with Professor José Barbosa and Raúl González Cortés. Attended some art courses at Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas etc.
1999-2000 On the resister at Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado “La Esmeralda”, Mexico City, Mexico.
2001-02 Finished the basic course for sculpture at Kobatake Kobo, Saitama, Japan.
2001-2010 Worked as an art unit of 2 artists “TALLER LA COCHERA”.

2001-now Works as an individual artist.
